Suluban Beach

Suluban Beach is world-renowned for its left-hand point break which is very popular among surfers, but there are plenty more fantastic things to do at Pantai Suluban other than surfing!

I have put together this complete guide including how to get there, the best time to visit, and what to expect when you arrive.

Ulun Danu Beratan

Pura Ulun Danu Beratan, or Pura Bratan, is a major Hindu Shaivite temple in Bali, Indonesia. The temple complex is on the shores of Lake Bratan in the mountains near Bedugul. The water from the lake serves the entire region in the outflow area; downstream there are many smaller water temples that are specific to each irrigation association (subak).

Jatiluwih area has always been known as one of the regions in Bali that produces great quality of rice. Located in the highlands (700 meters above the sea levels), and nearby the second tallest volcano in Bali, Mount Batukaru. It spans more than 53,000 hectares agriculture fields covered mostly with rice terraces.

Tanah Lot Temple

Pair south Bali’s two best-known temples Tanah Lot Temple, perched on a rock in the ocean, and Uluwatu Temple, looking out from the cliffs with one of Kuta’s top malls on this door-to-door private tour. Your driver will collect you from your Ubud area or south Bali hotel, take you to Tanah Lot, wait while you shop and snack at Discovery Shopping Mall, then drive you to Uluwatu Temple for the sunset.

Day 4: Ubud Tour

ATV Tour

Get off the road and discover parts of Moorea that many travelers miss on this small-group all-terrain vehicle tour of the island. After receiving a safety briefing and instructions on driving off-road vehicles, you’ll drive to fantastic viewpoints of Mount Rotui, the Magic Mountain, and the Belvedere viewpoint. Stop at an agricultural school to sample fresh produce. A fun excursion for travelers who love active tourism.

Rafting or Tubing

Rafting and tubing are popular water activities for both recreation and exercise. Rafting involves riding inflatable rafts down rivers either solo or in groups, with the option for self-navigation or guided tours. Tubing, on the other hand, sees participants floating on inner tubes. These summer activities offer a fun way to enjoy the outdoors, but safety is crucial, requiring participants to be cautious of water obstacles and stay within their skill levels. Whether navigating rapids or leisurely floating, both activities provide an enjoyable means of staying active amidst natural surroundings.

Day 5: Nusa Penida Tour 1 day package

Kelingking Beach

Kelingking Beach is undoubtedly one of the most picturesque beaches in Nusa Penida island, and in my opinion, the most stunning in Bali under the “wild beach” category. Even if you are not inclined to descend to the beach, take a stroll along the narrow path that meanders down the ridge line for a few meters.

Crystal Bay

Crystal Bay is a beach on Nusa Penida Island, which is just southeast of Bali. Nusa Penida can be reached by fast boat from Sanur in about 30 minutes. Crystal Bay is on the west coast of the island facing Bali, so you can expect calm swimming waters most of the time.

Angel Billabong & Broken

Broken Beach and Angel’s Billabong are on the South-West coast of Nusa Penida, not far from Crystal Bay. However, to go there by scooter or car you have to make quite a big detour. The road to go there used to be the worst one in all of Nusa Penida. Nowadays only the last hundred meters are a remainder of that terrible road ! You can also walk from Crystal Bay to Broken Beach, but the trail is not easy to find and it is a 2 hour hike.

Day 6: East Bali Tour

Heaven Gate Lempuyang

Lempuyang Temple is particularly significant to Balinese Hinduism. It is one of the six holiest temples in Bali called the Sad Kahyangan. Together they are said to provide spiritual balance to the island. Lempuyang Temple is also one of the nine directional temples on the island. Each of the nine is strategically located to protect Bali from evil spirits from a certain direction. Temple Lempuyang protects the island from the east.

Tirta Gangga

Tirta Gangga is a former royal palace in eastern Bali, Indonesia, about 5 kilometres from Karangasem, near Abang. Named after the sacred river Ganges in Hinduism, it is noted for the Karangasem royal water palace, bathing pools and its Patirthan temple. The one hectare complex was built in 1946 by the late King of Karangsem but was destroyed almost entirely by the eruption of nearby Mount Agung in 1963.
